Azure AD Domain Service and File Share

I created a Azure File Share and Azure Domain Service. Created a VM and made the VM as a member of the Domain service created. I am able to map the file share to Network drive. Also able to access through Windows Explorer. But When I tried to access the File Share from a Windows service in our application, it is not accessible and access denied error is thrown.

Please help on this

Is the windows service running using a service account ? and that service account is hosted on AADS ?
