Service Principals Personal Host AAD joined

Hi everyone,

recently we noticed that for every Personal Host VM we create a Service Principal gets created.

When we check with PowerShell "Get-AzureADServicePrincipal -All:$true" and filter DisplayName for the VM names we find the entries.

Can someone tell me why and how these get created?

Okay I opened a case with Microsoft and got it resolved. The service principal is used for the login process initiated from the Remote Desktop App to the Azure AD Joined Personal Host from AVD.
