Microsoft

We are pleased to announce that the Scheduled Agent Updates feature is now in public preview on Azure Virtual Desktop.

This feature enables IT admins to specify the time and day the organization wants to update the Azure Virtual Desktop agent, side-by-side stack, and Geneva Monitoring agent. Deploying updates at convenient times and/or outside peak business hours ensures greater reliability and business continuity while also enhancing the employee experience without interrupting business critical work.

To enable this feature in the Azure Portal, simply select the Scheduled Agent Updates tab for your host pool, check the box to enable Scheduled Agent Updates, enter your desired maintenance window and time zone setting, and select Apply.
