Outlook Cached modus fixed

Brass Contributor

On a standard WVD deployment with FSLogix Outlook Cached modus default setting is turned on and set to one month. No GPO's apply to Outlook and no apparant way to change this behaviour (extend time of items kept offline.

Anyone having the same experience and/or found a workaround to be able to change this setting?

@XxArkayxX , the sync window setting should only ever be disabled when the policy is set. It sounds like you're using an Office image which has this set by default. If you open the registry, you should see the setting under Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\cached mode

Having the same issue with a default deployment of WVD. Outlook defaulted to 1 month cached and no options to update it. Had to hack it out of the registry.. Seems like a bad setting to put in your default Multi session image.
What did you change in the registry? I am unable to find this reg key: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\cached mode
This did it for me
