New deploy WVD with resource manager when WVD Classic is already being used

Quick Reference.

A new WVD can be deployed with resource manager when WVD Classic is already being used in production.

If I register the resource "Microsoft.DesktopVirtualization", does it affect WVD Classic?

No it won't, you can have both running at the same time without any problem, they are completely separate :)
