RDP for Mac version 10.7.4 has broken multiple monitor support

I regularly connect to a Windows 10 Enterprise (1909) desktop using three monitors from my macOS 12 laptop. Last night the AppStore updated Microsoft Remote Desktop to version 10.7.4 and now it not longer works when "Use all monitors" is turned on. When I connect it loads on only one monitor with a resolution of 1024x768. If I turn off "Use all monitors" I get full resolution on one monitor. To make sure it is not my laptop I downloaded the beta version of 10.7.3 from https://install.appcenter.ms/orgs/rdmacios-k2vy/apps/microsoft-remote-desktop-for-mac/distribution_groups/all-users-of-microsoft-remote-desktop-for-mac and confirmed that is worked correctly with that version.

version 10.7.2 for Mac broke the ability to connect to an RD Gateway. Rolling back to previous versions restores this ability.

Great update - it no longer works. literally 30 seconds from working on the old version to the new I can no longer connect with the error An error occurred while communicating with the Remote Desktop Gateway. If this keeps happening, contact your network administrator for assistance. Error code: 0x3000066

The last two versions of the remote desktop client cannot use websockets for connections over a remote desktop gateway. Dissecting with Wireshark shows that the "upgrade" part of the protocol is not specified and thus the server falls back to legacy connections. The release notes read "Improved compatibility with third-party network devices and load balancers for workspace download and RD Gateway-based connections.". Are websocket connections now deprecated? If so why? Can we re-enable websocket in the client? How?

Hi, I am connected as Administrator to a Windows Server 2022 using Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.7.6 (1972) on macOS. When opening a Powershell, no key strokes are accepted. Running cmd works well. If I connect from another Windows machine, everything works as expected. Tried the "Connect to an admin session" option in General, but that did not solve the issue. Any ideas on how to solve this are very welcome. Best regards, Tim

On Mac using Remote Desktop 10.7.4 with multiple monitors doesn't work anymore. Then only VGA resolution. At least on my MacBooks 14 and 16 (both 2021) with MacOS 12.1

I just downloaded 10.7.4, in my settings I have "Use all monitors" checked, my resolution is minimal and only displays on 1 monitor. This was not an issue with version 10.7.3

Hi there, With the recent microsoft remote desktop update 10.7.4 (mac pro 16 inch, Montery), I'm having problem displaying remote desktop using all monitors. I tried checking and unchecking the option, but it always uses one display screen and not all. I didn't have this issue before this update, and I'm trying to figure out a workaround before you can fix this issue. Reduces productivity a ton if I only have one screen to work. Please help. Thanks!

Good morning, I went though a lot of reviews looking for a solution but I didn’t find anything related to this issue so I decided to contact you guys and ask for help. I’ve been using this app (Microsoft Remote Desktop) on my Ipad for a long time, but now that I got a new Ipad (software version 14.8.1 ) I am getting this error: “Unable to connect, Error code 0x204” This issue happens only when I am connected via VPN using T-Mobile network. When using VPN on a WiFi network it works perfectly, it also works fine when used via WiFi within the same network where my computer is connected here in my office. (I also tried on my Iphone and same situation, same error message under the same conditions, it doesn’t work on T-Mobile network via VPN ) The bad (or good) thing is that everything works perfectly on my “old Ipad” no issues at all, it works everywhere on any of those conditions mentioned above, the software version of my old Ipad is 12.5.5 Any ideas on how to make it work on my new Ipad Air 4th Generation? Thanks in advance.
