File Server VM Vs Azure file storage for AVD fslogix profile disk storage

Hello.

Im currently working on an AVD project

The client has a and azure VM file server that I could add the FSlogix profile disks to, but all my documentation review only reviews how to add fslogix disks to Azure file storage. 

I wanted to know if there are any cons to housing them on the file server? any reason why Azure file storage would be better?

if you have only one VM (single VM) than this can be your single point of failure... Within an Storage account you have diffent options.. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/files/files-redundancy
you need to compare price, redundancy, Management (patching,...)
