Desktop Virtual Machine licensing

Hello,

I am looking for clarification regarding the licensing of virtual desktops with an on premise Windows VM host server. I know with Windows Standard Server licensing this includes the ability to create two virtual windows servers with one license. How does this work for virtual desktops? For example, if I wanted to create 5 virtual desktops on my on premise host server, what type of licensing would be required?

@Vallee20 This is probably the wrong place to ask this, this is for Windows Virtual Desktop queries (WVD).
