AVD has been out for some time and one of the per-requisites for internal users is they need a license to digitally activate Windows 10 Enterprise Multi-Session when logging in via the web client or the desktop client. However, I've had numerous encounters where I or a customer has accessed the session hosts with a user account that was not licensed. In the past, that user would either not be able to subscribe to the workspace or would get kicked off. Now, the users are able to work as normal. Can someone from Microsoft explain if the license enforcement procedures have been lifted or if there is a bug? It would be bad if Microsoft continues to push the requirement for licensing and having customers pay for the licensing when AVD isn't enforcing the requirement.
