Hi,

 

I have been moving from Remote Desktop to Windows App on my Mac.

I use it to connect to a company RDS workspace. Since version 11, I can't connect, Windows App crashes when adding the workspace. Similar issues have happened on other Mac at work.

 

I am running MacOS Ventura 13.7

 

RemoteDesktop : Version 10.9.10 (2327) => no problem

 

Update to Windows App : Version 11.0.2 (2387)

Connect to existing workspace (from the 10.9 version) => still ok

Delete workspace

Try to setup workspace => App crashes

I am experiencing the same issue. I am running macOS Sequoia 15.

Also getting this on both Intel and Apple Silicon based PCs running macOS 15.

I'm on macOS 15 same issue.  It worked for a while in beta but now the official release is not working with rds workspaces.

Experiencing this issue as well. Windows App crashes after trying to add a new workspace. I'm able to type the url and it finds the correct workspace. When clicking 'add' it is fine with the first step in the loading-screen, then crashes when 'downloading and processing...' step appears. This happens both with and without credentials added. 

 

Windows App version: Version 11.0.3 (2395).

macOS version: Version 15.0 (24A235).

I reached out to Microsoft and they stated," I can repro this and have a fix ready for the upcoming 11.0.4 version". They did not provide an ETA on the release date.

Thank you for the update! We're on version 11.0.3 now, so hopefully it will be released very soon in the App Store.

Hello,

I have tested successfully the last 2 betas :  Version 11.0.4 (2396), and Version 11.0.5 (2398). I was able to add a new workspace, and run the apps.

Now waiting for general availability 11.0.4 🙂

11.0.4 is now available in App Store for everyone.
