Add an option in the Remote Desktop app for MacOS to swap the modifier keys before sending it to Remote Desktop, rather than just transferring MacOS copy, cut, find, and paste shortcuts. This way, when If any modifier key is pressed on the local machine, the remote desktop will receive the replaced modifier key. You can use exactly the modifier key layout presented in the MacOS keyboard settings in the Remote Desktop app.
