Hopefully this is the correct location.  Submit feedback under menu brought me here for Microsoft Remote Desktop for macOS.  Since I got my new M1 Mac and I am logged into a remote session in Microsoft Remote Desktop and I lock the screen on the Mac and come back I am disconnected from the remote session and have to reconnect.  Never had this issue on Intel Macs, I believe it's something to do with the Mac being an M1 based Mac.

I getting very regular disconnects during normal use. At least twice every hour the screen freezes and gets black while reconnecting. I then have to re-approve the Authenticator MFA. Don't believe it's my internet connection, because all other things work just fine.

same issue for me. it doesn't depend on wifi because it happens with the network cable too and even with both connections active. please provide a solution because it's very hard to work like this. thanks.
