Microsoft Remote Desktop Version 10.9.5 (2179) on macOS 14.2.1 (23C71) as client, xrdp 0.9.24 on Rocky Linux 9.3 as server. Client is an Intel MacBook Air.

The MacBook Air has two keyboard layouts enabled, US and DK.

We've observed that the keyboard layout selected when Microsoft Remote Desktop is initially started is the one the RDP session is "stuck" with, for the duration of the session. Changing the keyboard layout in macOS has no effect inside the RDP session.
