I noticed that when we deploy Remote Desktop Client from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/whats-new-client-windows, it installs to C:\Program Files\Remote Desktop which is a per-machine install location but the MSI is set up as a per-user install context. This can lead to problems if an old version of RDC is installed and a new version is installed by Intune for a new user as the old version will be overwritten without being first uninstalled.   To fix this, the MSI should be designed to support a per-device installation context which installs to C:\Program Files\Remote Desktop or a per-user installation context which installs to %appdata%\Remote Desktop. An MSI can support both configurations at the same time.   Right now, Intune treats it as a per-user installer but installs to the per-device installation folder and breaks things when updating it so I'm forced to run an old version. ... After connection, the remote audio input and output both work. But after the remote audio input is unused for a few seconds (i.e. no application is actively using it), it stops working until I either reconnect or restart the Windows Audio Service on the AVD.   Note that the remote audio output continues to work fine. Hi, I have observed this issue to re-occur in RDP on Version 10.9.5 (2179) on macOS. Issue: When I login to my server via RDP, screenshot (performed by scheduled desktop screenshots + email of png to my email.) works fine. However when I exit RDP and perform screenshot on the server again, the screenshot becomes black. I think the exit or RDP from the server didn't set the screen back to normal. I have to restart the server again (and without any RDP into server) in order for the screenshot to work. ... View more

I'm using Azure Virtual Desktop on my Windows 11 laptop with 2 additional monitors attached. I've configured my AVD connection to use the 2 additional monitors (2 and 3), so I could use my laptop screen for local actions. This works fine, until I upgraded to release 1.2.5105.0, because then, despite the configuration of using monitor 2 and 3, the laptop screen (1) and monitor 2 were used. Hi,  I am currently using Remote.IT + RD Client to access my PC while I am away on vacation. However, after setting up my remote access and attempting to launch the window through RD Client, I am always taken to the Apple Store instead of the actual app.    Why is this happening and how do I make sure the RD Client is launching instead of the Apple Store? After pressing Ctrl+C to copy to clipboard, or Ctrl+V to paste, the app where I pressed the shortcut hangs for several seconds. I've observed Ctrl+C hang inside the machine I remoted into, and Ctrl+V hang in the physical machine I'm on.   I've observed that both on macOS and Windows (10 and 11). The target machine is always Windows 11, and I'm remoting into DevBox (devbox.microsoft.com). On Mac I also have Parallels Toolbox with Clipboard History, not sure if that matters. The target machine is almost always plain vanilla DevBox with little to no modifications.   The hang happens when the app calls into the OS Clipboard APIs.
