All of our external customers have their own AAD / Entra ID and wish to not manage multiple identities. As we present our applications via AVD, it requires them to have a separate identity in our tenant currently. AVD should support guest accounts from another tenant to be able to sign in.    Currently, per the documentation and per the ticket I just worked with Microsoft support:   Azure Virtual Desktop doesn't support external identities, including guest accounts or business-to-business (B2B) identities. Whether you're serving internal commercial purposes or external users with Azure Virtual Desktop, you'll need to create and manage identities for those users yourself.   Please continue development to allow guest accounts that have been invited into a tenant to sign in to AVD machines. Now when I try to Remote Desktop into a vm that is on a domain, it will not let me connect because of a security error. This used to connect just fine. The only way to get around this is to manually log in. Once a user has logged into the computer, I can then remote into it like normal. Smart card pass-through on version 10.9.3 (2158) does not work on macOS Sonoma. The smart card reader works to log into the virtual desktop, but once there it can't be used to sign in to anything within the virtual environment. Hi,   At this moment B2B isn't supported for Azure Virtual Desktop: The user must be sourced from the same Active Directory that's connected to Azure AD. Azure Virtual Desktop does not support B2B or MSA accounts. The UPN you use to subscribe to Azure Virtual Desktop must exist in the Active Directory domain the VM is joined to.   It would be nice to create a B2B feature, so our end users can use AVD resources from our third party suppliers (DaaS/SaaS suppliers). After we enter the login credentials and get to the landing page of the virtual desktop, we click on a virtual desktop and the remote session starts. Right after starting, we are again prompted to enter the password (the username/email is prefilled already). As I always use 1Password to drag & drop or the Type in window feature to key in the password, the password ends up in the username field instead of to the password field. In the Old version of the web client of remote desktop, on drag and drop, the password would get filled currently in the password field itself (probably because the cursor was already on the password field). But with the new Beta feature, drag and drop always keys in the password to the username field.
