Meet the SQL Product Team at Data Platform Summit 2019

DP_Summit_LOGO-1.pngSeveral members of the SQL Team represented by Product Managers from Azure SQL Database (@azuresqldb) and SQL Server (@mssqltiger) Engineering will be speaking at Data Platform Summit 2019 (#DPS10), Asia’s Premier Data & Analytics Conference taking place on August 22-24 in Bangalore, India. Data Platform Summit 2019 is a full 3-day conference with more than 100 breakout sessions, open talks, chalk talks and deep dive pre-con sessions.

 

This is a truly unique conference (see video below), comprising multiple tracks on topics covering Data Science (including Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning amongst others), Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics, Database Administration, Database Development, Cloud, IoT & NoSQL, Big Data and Open Source. and related technologies. The summit attracts data platform experts from around the globe. DPS 2019 is the only Data/Analytics event in Asia where product teams from Microsoft’s Data Group fly down from Redmond to deliver advanced sessions on the latest technologies.

 

 

Through several breakout sessions, chalk talks and open talks (see schedule below) we will talk about new features and enhancements in SQL Server, Azure SQL Database (including Managed Instance, Hyperscale and Serverless), and provide deep-dive into internals of these features to help you build your business applications. Additionally, if you are looking to upgrade, migrate or modernize your data platform (no matter what your source platform is), we will showcase several new Data Migration tools and services that will make these efforts seamless.
