Using saved queries in Tile & View Designer

Am I missing something or is there no intuitive way to re-use the queries saved in the 'Queries Explorer' from the View Designer ?  Do we have to type the query manually in the small text box each time ?

Hi, As far as I know the View Designer does not consume saved searches, so I'd suggest copy-pasting instead (please take my answer with a grain of salt, as I'm not an expert of the View Designer). Another option may be to run the saved query in Log Analytics ("Logs") and pin it to a dashboard. while not an equivalent, it may best if meets your needs.

Noa is right. If you want to avoid the UI it is best to use ARM templates to deploy the Log Analytics views. That way your views will be saved as code and easier to transfer and maintain.
