We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 08/25, 13:08 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 08/25, 10:53 UTC and that during the 2 hours and 15 minutes that it took to resolve the issue ~60 customers experience issues while creating new workspace for Azure Log Analytics in Azure Portal.
- Root Cause: The failure was due to one of our backend services.
