Update: Thursday, 28 June 2018 01:50 UTC

Root cause has been isolated to one of the dependency platforms which was impacting access to Metrics (preview) in Monitor blade on Azure Portal. Hot-fix is in progress to mitigate the issue. Intermittently customers may experience errors while accessing Metrics (preview) in Monitor blade. This does not impact clicking on existing dashboard tiles to reach Metrics (preview).

  • Work Around: Customers can use Metrics blade (non-preview) for exploring the metrics
  • Next Update: Before 06/28 14:00 UTC

Initial Update: Wednesday, 27 June 2018 02:06 UTC

We are aware of issues within Application Insights and are actively working on the mitigation. Customers visiting Metrics (preview) in Monitor blade on Azure Portal will see black blade and would not be able to use it to explore metrics and create dashboards from it. This does not impact clicking on existing dashboard tiles to reach Metrics (preview).

  • Work Around: Customers can use Metrics blade (non-preview) for exploring the metrics
  • Next Update: Before 06/28 02:30 UTC
We are working hard to resolve this issue and apologize for any inconvenience.
