We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 03/30, 21:43 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 03/30, 13:50 UTC and that during the 7 hours and 53 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers using Application Insights in West US2 Region experienced data latency and incorrect alert activation for Log Search Alerts.
Root Cause: The failure was due to issues in one of the backend services.
