Experiencing Data Latency issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types - 03/21 - Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 3/21, 14:55 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 3/21, 10:15 UTC and that during the 4 hours and 40 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some of customers with Application Insights resources in North Central US region may have experienced intermittent metric data gaps and incorrect alert activation.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our dependent service

We are aware of issues within Application Insights service and are actively investigating. Some customers with Application Insights resources in North Central US region may experience intermittent metric data gaps and incorrect alert activation.
