We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 8/13, 03:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 8/04, 18:45 UTC and that during the duration of the incident customers using Azure Monitor and/or Application Insights for metric APIs or alerts may experience data latency when attempting to query for custom metrics. Customers may additionally experience alerts firing improperly due to the data not loading as expected.
