We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 03/24, 12:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 03/24, 10:30 UTC and that during the 1 hour and 30 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers using Azure Monitor in West Europe may have experienced intermittent data latency and incorrect alert activation when ingesting telemetry in Log Analytics workspace.
- Root Cause: We determined that an instance of a backend service on which Azure Monitor relies became unhealthy.
