We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 10/05, 16:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 10/04, 13:24 UTC and that during the 26 hours 36 mins that it took to resolve the issue some customers specifically in west central region would have experienced access issues on dashboards for Azure SQL Analytics monitoring solution, which provides monitoring performance of Azure SQL databases, elastic pools, and Managed Instances.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to issues in one of our backend service.

We are aware of issues within Log Analytics and are actively investigating. Some customers may experience issue while accessing the data shown via visualized elements (Charts and tables) in Azure SQL Analytics.
