Experiencing Data Access issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types - 06/01 - Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 6/2, 2:06 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 5/28, 01:43 UTC and that during the 5 days and 23 minutes that it took to resolve the issue 108 customers experienced an inability to view full webtest results and download them from the portal.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to a code regression in the frontend processor.

We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.

Root cause has been isolated to a site configuration problem which was impacting a small number of customers' ability to view webtest results in the Azure portal. To address this issue we are currently deploying a hotfix.
