We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 01/11, 23:45 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 01/11, 22:10 UTC and that during the 1 hour and 35 minutes that it took to resolve the issue customers in West Europe may have experienced issues with data access in Azure Portal, Query failures for Log Analytics and delayed or missed alerts in Log Search Alerts.
- Root Cause: The failure was due to due to one of the backend services.
