We have confirmed all services are back to normal, our logs show that the incident occurred between 18:45 UTC and 22:40 UTC on 8 July 2022. In the three hours that it took to resolve the issue, some of the customers using Azure Monitor who may have experienced issues in East US 2 and West Europe region.
Root Cause: The Issue was due to high ingestion from Alerts and metrics services.
