Experiencing Data Access Issue in Azure portal for Log Analytics - 05/26 - Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 05/26, 10:10 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 05/26, 09:22 UTC and that during the 48 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some of the customers using Log Analytics and Azure sentinel may have experienced data access issue and delayed or missed alerts in East US2 region.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to one of our backend dependent service became unhealthy.

We understand that customers rely on Azure Log Analytics as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.

We are aware of issues within Log Analytics and are actively investigating. Some of the customers using Log Analytics may experience data access issue and delayed or missed alerts in East US 2 region. Some customers using Azure Sentinel may also experience data access issues and delayed or misfired alerts.
