Can Azure VMware appliance discover physical boxes?

It seems that the Azure appliance for VMware can only discover VMware based VM's and miss finding physical boxes. Is it possible to enable Azure VMware appliance to find physical machines? Or is it the situation where there is an appliance for a specific case - VMware appliance for VMware, hyper-v for hyper-v, and physical to physical, and they cannot cross talk? Many thanks :)

As of right now that would require you to deploy the physical migration utility in order to discover the physical VMs, They could be deployed in tandem in order to move the full stack of servers. You could also virtualize the server if no other efforts succeeded.
