I've inherited a project where the organization is using a rather different DevOps process. We have an impediment column as well as an impediment work item type. However, if you use the Impediment work item type it will not appear on the Sprint boards no matter what I do.
I've checked the Iteration Path and Area Path, all good on that front.
When I change the type back to a task, it appears on the sprint board.
Why would I have both options and why would an impediment work item type not appear on the board?
