How to connect Project to Azure boards

I am using the Project App for Roadmaps. When I create a row I do not see Azure Boards in the dropdown to connect - only Project. Where is the connection between Project and Azure (Boards) created?

@Kidd_Ip Thanks - I checked out the article and it does not help because I am running VS 2019 and Azure Services 2022: 

Microsoft Project Integration and the TFSFieldMapping command are not supported for:

• Visual Studio 2019 and Azure DevOps Office® Integration 2019
• Azure DevOps Server 2019 and later versions, including Azure DevOps Services.

That being said I have used "Team" in Excel and it does work with my Azure DevOps project just fine to bring items into Excel. I do not have the "Team" option in Project (online app) to set up the server connection. I find it interesting that everything I have read assumes that Roadmap will just have the Azure Boards option by default and mine does not.
