Azure Event Grid is a new offering in Azure for building event-based applications using a serverless infrastructure. Azure Event Grid provides event publishing support in order to react to events in integrated services. Built for scalability, it enables intelligent filtering and routing on event metadata providing the flexibility to adapt event-based applications in a serverless solution.
The Azure Event Grid has a pay-per-event pricing model, and while it is in preview, the cost is $0.30 per million operations. The first 100,000 operations per month are free.
