Welcome to another Azure Content Spotlight! These articles are used to highlight items in Azure that could be more visible to the Azure community.
With the announcement Azure Relay Hybrid Connections is generally available , this week's content spotlight highlights Azure Relay. Azure Relay allows for the secure exposure of on-premises services to the cloud without requiring firewall or network changes. WCF Relay has been available for some time and Hybrid Connections is built upon a common gateway but provides greater acceptance by using open standard WebSockets instead of proprietary WCF.
It is worth noting that Hybrid Connections replaces BizTalk Services.
For more information on Azure Relay see What is Azure Relay? or go straight to Getting Started with Relay Hybrid Connections .
