Does anyone know what causes an application to show up on the Application Access Panel (which also shows on O365 App Launcher)?

Thanks, that article give me some clues about what might be going on, but it raises some more issues. I have had FastTrack, PowerUsers Community, Partners Portal, PowerShell Gallery, Office 365 Training magically show up. If I assume that the apps that I am seeing are being added because the web site devs use the API tools, then when I click on the app, I should already be logged into the web site, but I am not, the SSO functionality is not working for any of the external apps
