It is possible to trigger the Azure MFA authentication process (phone call, sms message or MS Authenticator) by using the Azure AD authentication methods API or any other form. We have a solution for a self service password reset and account lockout that previously used the Azure Multi-factor Authentication Server. However, as of july 2019, Microsoft no longer offers MFA Server for new deployments. So we need the user without signing in into the application, to proof his identity using Azure MFA before he is allowed to change his password or unlock his account
Thanks in advance.
