Welcome to the inaugural episode of “Inside Identity,” a new video series that will provide a window into the Identity Engineering Team at Microsoft. In my role as Partner Director of Program Management, I lead a group which cuts the distance between engineering, our customers, and our partners. The magic is in that intersection! As you’ll hear me say in this episode, Microsoft is a partner-lead organization and customers guide the Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) roadmap. This series will provide insight into how these relationships and our commitment to diversity and inclusion guide the evolution of our identity solutions.

In this first episode, I met with Calvin Rowland, SVP Business Development and Technology Alliances, at F5. Our two companies have joined forces to integrate F5’s Access Policy Manager (APM) with Azure AD. Together these solutions provide secure access to legacy apps that use protocols such as header-based and Kerberos authentication. Watch to learn more about the partnership and how each company obsesses over customers. We also talk about the importance of diversity and inclusion to the future of technology and actions we’ve taken to build collaborative, inclusive teams.
