How many software engineers does it take to change a light bulb?

None. It's a hardware problem.

A man called the Helpdesk about his computer, the tech asked the man if he backup, the man jump out of his chair and move away from the computer and asked; Why is it going to explode!

Hi

Why doesn't artificial intelligence have a girlfriend? Because there is no heart.
What is the favorite dish of artificial intelligence? Bit.
What does artificial intelligence say when it gets a task to do? "I'll do it in the blink of an eye" - and so he does for 3 days.

Why can't artificial intelligence shop in a store?

Because there is no credit card    "

My first IT job was on a DECsystem-10 mainframe in 1977. When I walked into the computer room there was a short poem taped to the LA120 console that read:

I really hate this darn machine,
I wish that they would sell it.
It never does what I want,
Only what I tell it.

That has stuck with me for 26 years now! :)

Hi, but 46 years have passed since then, -> you have an excellent memory - congratulations!

"That has stuck with me for 26 years now! :)"

Well, the memory may be okay, but my math sure isn't! ;)

It plays on the distinction between software and hardware expertise, suggesting that software engineers might not be the best choice for solving a hardware-related problem like changing a light bulb. It's a lighthearted way to poke fun at the different skill sets within CWC Live the field. Regards
