Event swag in 2022 - Where do we go from here?

As in-person events start to return, so do the giveaways. I help out with events quite often and there are many opinions on physical "swag" and many important concepts to consider, such as inclusion and sustainability. So, I'm curious:

• What types of items do you like to take away from an event?
• What items do you have too many of? 
• Have you received any digital/virtual swag over the past few years that was enticing?
• Do you sometimes visit an event, session, or booth just for the swag they have?
• Would you like to see an option to "preorder" your swag kit when you register for an event so you receive it beforehand vs. at the event?
• Would you like to see an option to donate to a charity (with a few options) instead of receiving swag?

Yes, of course, charity is needed especially now that there is a war in Europe!

IT people are sensitive to social inequalities and actively try to support everyone in need
