Hey there, Insiders! We’re going to spend the next month going through the survey results you provided us. We saw a great response and we look forward to digging into how we can improve our feedback space for you.

While most of the items on the list do not have an update this month, we are excited to share an update to Add ability to close tabs via double-click. Some of you may already have seen it, however we are currently testing it and would love to know your thoughts on this if you have it available in your Canary channel. We expect this to show up for more users over the course of the next month, so we are marking it as Planned for July this week.

That’s it for this update! We will be back in August with your next update. Did you know we have a new portal in which you can submit feedback on what changes you want to see? You can search to see if your idea is already on the Edge Feedback portal, or post it up to get other likeminded people to comment and vote on your suggestion. Have something you think might be more of a bug? Send it to us directly through the in-app feedback tool by heading to the … menu > Help and feedback > Send feedback and include diagnostics. Detailing exactly what you see will ensure that the team understands the issue at hand, and if you include your email address it offers you the ability to receive email updates whenever we take action on your item.

I have been having an issue where a password field is displayed, I click in the entry field, and then I am presented with the option to select a stored password. When I click the user name/password to fill in the field Edge crashes. I experienced this on dev and now on beta. Additionally, this happens on two systems. If I manually fill in the password everything works as expected.

@MikeKG I have too seen this since Edge 104 (Dev channel). Another issue that seems to have been fixed in the latest build was the removal of dark mode in the settings UI on Linux.

@borgdylan yeah, I have to correct or add to my post. I thought it was happening with passwords, but it seems to be any auto fill.  I have seen it in dev and now in the current beta; however, does not happen in stable.

The flag to disable tab grouping seems to have been removed from edge 104, please add it back! Having groups appear out of nowhere when I just want to move tabs is unacceptable!
