A cloud application always involves multiple connected cloud services. Developers expect to quickly connect those services together with best practices, which leads to complex configurations and maintenance difficulties. Today, we are excited to announce the public preview of the Service Connector. This extension Resource Provider allows you to connect your Azure compute services to backing services such as Azure Databases, Storage, real-time messaging services, Key Vault, and more, all with just one command or a few clicks.
Service Connector simplifies service-to-service connections and accelerates your application development. You will find this consistent experience across Azure to help you create and manage service connections. Once the connection is created, you can quickly troubleshoot or identify connection issues with built-in connection status. Furthermore, you can leverage Azure portal, Azure CLI and SDKs to integrate it into your application development flow.
Getting started with Service Connector
You can find Service Connector in both Azure App Service and Azure Spring Cloud in public preview. Service Connector helps connect these two compute services to a list of 1st party and 3rd party cloud services. See the documentation to learn more:
