How important do you think Linux is for .NET developers today?

We've been seeing this movement for a while, now. But it seems this is still unfamiliar territory for many.

How important do you think it is today, and will be tomorrow?

Where will most of .NET workloads in the future be hosted: Linux or Windows? And where will it be developed?

Do you think people might migrate to VS Code on Linux for .NET dev at some point?

Are you thinking of running your .NET app on Linux? If so, why?

@Giovanni Bassi I don't think that any regular .net developer will move to Linux as working environment, but now they are being more careful, because companies will start asking for deploy apps in (Linux) containers, not so many Windows ones, so as long you can target to Linux from a Windows SO this will be fine.
