.Net MAUI Deploying to Huawei P30 for a test

I have just started with a little bit of dotNet MAUI development and now I have a test app that I want to try on my phone.

From all my tests so far all is well, but deploying it to my phone is proving to be a bit more difficult than  I expected. I am running a Huawei P30, and the APK I generated from the Pixel 5 is not working, should I get a P30 VM to test it out? What exactly are the steps to get it running I am not finding any documentation around it yet.

I am using Maui 6.0.486 on VS 2022 17.3.3.
