Hi experts

One of my colleague had earlier delete 2015 emails from users mailbox as per their request, but user says that still he has 2015 emails 
how can i know from exchange if user has 2015 emails in this mailbox

The easiest way, or at least the way I would do it, is to run a Content Search from the Security & Compliance center. There are filters in there that will help you narrow down time frames of received email dates.
+ 1 to Max suggestion. Take also a look at PowerShell possibilities around the same idea
