Is Outlook 2016 becoming obsolete on Nov 1, 2021?

Copper Contributor

According to announcements from Microsoft,

"Starting November 1, 2021, the following versions of Outlook for Windows, as part of Office and Microsoft 365 Apps, will not be able to connect with Office 365 and Microsoft 365 services:

Office 2007

  All Versions

Office 2010

  All Versions

Office 2013

 15.0.4970.9999 and older

Office 2016

 16.0.4599.9999 and older

All Office 2016 updates have been applied, but none of them have a version newer than 16.0.14430.20292.  So is the announcement saying all of our Outlook 2016 installations will not be able to retrieve email from our Office 365 accounts?

You're missing a digit here, 14430 > 4599. You'll be fine.
Oh geez, how embarrassing. Thank you. Never mind....
