With office update 12624.20382 I have noticed significant (10X) slow down in MS Access when I use
Docmd.RunSQL "INSERT INTO .."
Before the update 1500 records were inserted in 2 seconds, after update 25 seconds.
For normal speed I had to roll back the office version plus made a system restore on the restore point before update.
The issue is with 365, 2016 and 2019, and with inserting into local tables or linked tables, it doesn’t mater.
