I am in the process of assembling a simple app using Access to enable a user to key in info on a song title (i.e., Title, Composer, Year Written, Genre: swing, overture, Show tune, waltz, etc.).
Want to set up dropdowns for Composer & Genre. I would like for the user to add to the dropdown list (i.e., as songs are keyed in, enable the user to add names to the COMPOSER list. This list will be setup using COMPOSER's last name (no need for first name). May want to do the same for GENRE list.
The purpose for the app is to automate a library of music for a community band, that, for most part, is either currently written in a notebook, or, not even listed (i.e., must manually search through the song arrangements & hope they are in alphabetical order or some sense of order).
Any help/direction/advice is much appreciated!!
