Access switching keyboard language

for some reason MS Access switches my keyboard language to Japanese Hiragana whenever i want to type something. since im german and can´t read/write Hiragana, i thought about just uninstalling that language pack, but i´m wondering if there isn´t a other solution.

Please verify that this happens only with Access, and not with other Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
