Access Report Issues

Copper Contributor

I am running a Microsoft Access report and when I do, it doubles the amount of records in the query. I have the record source set to the correct query, yet it is giving me 2 of each. When I run the query on its own, it is the correct number and gives me 4,037 that I need. When I run the report with that same query as the record source, it keeps giving me 8,068. I need to print these all individually but would rather be able to print them in batches rather than having to type in each page number one by one. What could be causing this?

Do you get the same (doubled) number of records if you create a new (test) report this way:

  1. Open/Run the query.
  2. Create a new report while the query results are open: Choose Create > Report.

Does the new report show the right number or the double number of records?

Best wishes,
