I am using Access 2019, but Access 2007-2016 is displayed in the default file format for blank database . How can I change 2016 to 2019?

There are 2 file formats: the old mdb, 2003 and prior, and the"newer" 2007+ accdb. So by using the 2007-2016 you are using the latest file format.

2016, 2019, MS365, is all the same thing formed off of the same code base.

@Daniel_Pineault Thank you for your reply. My professor asks us to use Access 2019, but my Access shows 2007-2016, which does not match his requirement. Is there any way I can turn 2016 into 2019?

It's the same file format. 2016, 2019, 365 is all one in the same. No difference. As long as your database is an accdb, there is nothing more for you to do.

Otherwise, your professor will have to show you exactly what he wants you to do.
