access 2019 wont open my split access database correctly

My very important business app is a split accdb which I have been running on office pro 2016. I recently got a new computer and office 2019 but it will not open both the front and back end, only one or the other. How can I get them connected? Thanks

@furbo_bruno  Use the Linked Table Manager from the Front End.

You'll find it on the External Data tab of the ribbon:
